On September 9th, we officially opened the Dr. Joe Haegert Community Health Centre at Crosstown, bringing integrated medical, mental health, and recovery care to those in need. With community support, we are close to raising the funds needed to fully equip the clinic and sustain its operations.
For many people, accessing healthcare can be difficult. The challenges of homelessness, poverty, mental health concerns, substance use, and past experiences with the healthcare system can all create barriers to getting the care they need. The Dr. Joe Haegert Community Health Centre brings a range of services together in one welcoming and accessible space, helping people access care when and where they need it.
