Kevin O’Cain was a quiet, gentle, and thoughtful young man. After finishing his studies, he was still searching for his place in the world when he found purpose on the front lines at Cool Aid. Though reserved by nature, Kevin loved his work — caring for people too often overlooked and treating everyone with dignity and kindness.
In 2003, Kevin’s life was cut short by melanoma at just 29 years old. Before he passed, he confided a fear of being forgotten.
His parents could never forget him — and now, neither will we. Through their extraordinary gift in his honour, Kevin’s compassion lives on, helping others, like those he once served, who deserve a second chance.
