Support Long-Term Recovery

Help us build a future where recovery can last.

The house exists. What happens inside it — and whether we can do more — depends on you.

Ian Cooper was the first man to walk through the doors of Johnson Manor on April 7th. He arrived with 60 days of sobriety and nowhere else to go. Today he is the House Lead — the first face new residents see…the steady presence that helps 20 men stay on course.

“Because of this place, there are 20 guys who are now going to be able to go out and help society. If it wasn’t for this, I wouldn’t have been able to better my life, and my children’s lives. Thank you.”
—Ian Cooper, Johnson Manor House Lead.

That thank you belongs to donors like you. Read Ian’s full story.

Your Gift Funds

  • Recovery programming — the meetings, life skills workshops, and structured support that make sobriety sustainable long after treatment ends.
  • A pathway to employment — through Cool Aid’s Labour Pool, residents connect with real work in our community, building purpose, income, and independence.
  • The expansion of recovery services — Johnson Manor is full and there are more people waiting. Your gift helps us deepen what we offer and reach more people at this critical stage of their recovery.

The Province of British Columbia and the City of Victoria helped make Johnson Manor possible. Donor funding powers the programming and services that turn a house into a lasting recovery.
