You Did It!
Our Health & Homecoming Gala had one big goal: to complete our $3.6 million Crosstown Capital Campaign for the construction and opening of the Dr. Joe Haegert Community Health Centre.
You did it! Together, the Gala raised more than $200,000, helping us reach our campaign goal.
Here’s what your generosity made possible: the Dr. Joe Haegert Community Health Centre, located at 568 Burnside Road, is now open, and more people in our community have access to compassionate, judgment-free care close to home.

Ten years ago, Crosstown was only a dream: a place where housing and health care come together under one roof. It’s a new and innovative model, and today it’s real. Crosstown is now home to:
- The Dr. Joe Haegert Community Health Centre
- 54 units of supportive housing
- 100 units of mixed housing, with rents set below market, based on income, and at market rates
- An industrial kitchen
In all, the Dr. Joe Haegert Community Health Centre will care for more than 3,500 people, including 1,000 new patients who will now have a place to call their medical home.
