Foot health is vitally important, and for people experiencing extreme poverty and homelessness, that importance is amplified. Old shoes, hours spent walking, shared showers, and pre-existing health conditions like diabetes all contribute to a variety of foot issues that are hard to manage and treat. Through the cold season and wet season on Vancouver Island, the need to protect feet becomes even more crucial.
