About Affordable Market Rentals
Affordable near-market rental units are designed for moderate income earners and their families who earn too much to qualify for subsidized housing, but who still need purpose-built rental housing that is affordable to them. To be eligible, households must earn below set income limits determined by BC Housing:
Below $84,780 for a studio or one-bedroom
Below $134,140 for two or more bedrooms

The 51 units of affordable market housing at 210 Gorge Road East include studio, one, and two-bedroom suites, plus accessible options. With secured parking and bike storage, The Chestnut is conveniently located on several major bus routes and is only minutes from downtown Victoria.
