More seniors than ever are living in poverty facing isolation, food insecurity, and homelessness. They’re our parents, grandparents, and neighbours. They deserve to age with safety, stability, and support.
Cool Aid operates five supportive housing buildings specifically for older adults, including a long-term care home designed to help seniors age in place with the care they need.
Your gift to our Greatest Needs Fund helps provide:
- Nutritious meals
- Wellness checks and access to health care
- Recreation, connection, and community-building activities
- Mobility aids that support independence
- Safe, stable homes with compassionate care
Our charitable registration number is 12820 5069 RR0001 and we can issue an official tax receipt for donations over $20.

Legacy Donations & Gifts of Securities
Leaving a gift to Cool Aid in your will, naming Cool Aid as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy, TFSA, trust, or estate, or transferring publicly listed securities as a charitable gift are meaningful ways to support marginalized people in our community. We recommend consulting a financial or legal advisor to determine the best way to structure your legacy and securities gifts.
